I've been to the restaurant used in that movie... a short time after I saw the original b & w. The Inn at the Tides or something (it's on HWY 1 above SF, that's all I know)... can't remember exactly what it's called; they have killer fried clams! If you drive up the coast an hour or so to just below Jenner, there is a lovely beach (all the beaches in that area are lovely, but this one's my favorite!) Ha!
